Cycling - Dumfries and Galloway boasts some of the finest mountain bike trails in Scotland. One of the newest attractions for mountain bikers is the 7 Stanes network (www.7stanes.gov.uk) where you can really test your skills.
If that sounds too adventurous then why not link to the www.sustrans.co.uk network and enjoy cycling round some of our countryside. Locally Rik's Bike Shed will be offering guided rides on cycling routes as well as mountain bike routes.
We also have secure barns to store your bike and an outside hose to wash your bike.

Fishing: Salmon & Trout Fishing in local Lochs and rivers can be soucred in the area. Set in more than 25 acres the Hammerlands Centre in Moffat offers fly fishing & Course fishing in 7 acres of lakes. Also on site a Garden Centre, Animal Corner, Children's Play Area and Restaurant.
